I personally subscribe to a healthy active lifestyle. I find that keeping active is the best medicine for staying healthy. My love for sports was my motivation for gearing my practice towards ‘therapeutic massage work’. I thoroughly enjoy helping people to recover from accidents/injuries and I assist them in maintaining their continued wellbeing.

Although relaxation massage (Swedish Massage) is definitely a modality I provide, my heart is in therapeutic massage. Including, but not limited to: cranial sacral therapy, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, heat and cold therapy, active/passive therapeutic stretching, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage massage. I find that most of my clientele, enjoy a Swedish Massage, with emphasis on specific areas due to overuse or injury. Many will also schedule regular appointments (weekly or bi-weekly) for body work on specific injuries. Some of these injuries may be from overuse, sports injuries, falls/accidents, automobile accidents, pre-op or post-surgery rehabilitation.

I also specialize in working with the elderly. Although I am well known for my deep tissue work, I also know how to lighten my touch as needed. Elderly clients benefit from the massage greatly because of the ‘touch therapy’ alone. But also massage aids in comforting those suffering from arthritis and other injuries where surgery is not an option.

“Touch Therapy” is healing in itself. Many psychologists will refer patients for massage therapy specifically for the touch therapy they strive for. “Pregnancy” massage is also very therapeutic for those expecting mothers. I have assisted in the wellbeing of many “Mom’s” during their pregnancy and even into delivery of their new bundle of joy!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have regarding my services, or the benefits of massage therapy.
